Cathedral was caught during Estinien's one and only expedition to the Ruins of Alph after it attacked Solus and they knocked it out. He might have been better off if he'd taken the attack as a sign...anyway, he doesn't really know what to do with a floating dinner plate except train it, so that's what he's doing. It's named for the reminder of the architecture of his home, Ishgard, and its huge cathedrals.
